Food Distribution Information
AMELCA Food Pantry is a joint effort between St. Peter's A.M.E. Church and First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Distribution Location and Hours
First Lutheran Church
250 West Decatur Street, Decatur, IL
Wednesdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
I.D. is required to pick up items.
Each week, we try to give out the following items:
- Canned tuna
- Canned pork & beans
- Canned green beans or canned corn
- Canned chicken noodle soup or canned tomato soup
- Canned fruit
- A box of mac & cheese
- Ramen noodles
- A sleeve of saltine crackers
- A roll of toilet paper
- A frozen pizza
- A snack of chips or a granola bar
Sometimes other items will be added if they are donated to us.
Donations
Please note: We are always in need of food donations.
Monetary donations may also be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church with "AMELCA" written on the memo line.
